Usually the first Saturday of Wood's Wacky Week of Work and Wrelaxation.
Allegheny Trail Cooperators' Meeting & Board Meeting -- August 31, 2013
The last Saturday in August of every year. at 1pm. Trail volunteers, adopt-the-trail maintainers, agency cooperators, private land-owning cooperators, and WVSTA officers meet to discuss issues and opportunities of the Trail. Board Meeting following around 3 or 4PM. The location TBA later on this webpage and in the Whoop-n-Holler newsletter.
Trek Ground Crew Recon Weekend -- TBD

Allegheny Trek -- Friday-Sunday of Columbus Day Week-end each year. Oct 12-15, 2013
A 25-mile backpacking trek fund-raiser to benefit Camp Mountain Heart and the WV Scenic Trails Association (WVSTA). Camp Mountain Heart provides a summer camp experience for children with heart disease. WVSTA is the organization that built and maintains the Allegheny Trail, WV's only long-distance hiking trail.
